I would really like to hear what makes you come to that conclusion.

pretty self explanatory and right there really. The Eurogamer is handheld focused mostly and doesnt really offer a good home console side that is capable of supporting any legit western third party. Handheld might be considered ''strong'', but that will only get you a bit of japanese support only. If Eurogamer rumors are true then it sounds like the console side will be even weaker than xbox one/ps4 and way weaker than scorpio and neo. No third party in their right mind from the west would want to support that.

Thats why I see the Eurogamer as not apealing to the ''core gamer'' like Nintendo is aiming for because the home console side would have zero appeal to those people

So you are claiming that a handheld console cannot under any circumstances appeal to both casual & core audiences?

I would argue that 3DS has done a decent job of being a casual friendly & core friendly device.

Its has successful casual friendly titles like Animal Crossing: New Leaf (over 10 million), Tomodachi Life (over 5 million), Nintendogs+Cats (over 4 million), Happy Home Designer (over 3 million), Style Savvy: Trendsetters (over 1 million).

It also has many successful core games like Monster Hunter (3-4 million each), Legend of Zelda (avg. 3 million each), Fire Emblem (2 million each), Bravely Default (over 1 million), Kid Icarus (over 1 million)

It also has many games that appeal to both sides like Mario Kart, Pokemon, Smash Bros, 2D mario, etc. that have sold over 10 million.

Its kind of ridiculous to say a portable device cant appeal to casual & core gamers.
