Or something Kinect like, they have patents for infared sensors. 

It's basically a portable Wii U tablet with some Kinect like stuff built in and detachable controller wings from the sounds of it, with a modest hardware bump from Wii U. Wii U still used Wiimotes too, it's not like they were disowned, you couldn't really even play Nintendo Land (the pack-in title) without Wiimotes.

Modest hardware bump? Tablet? Infared Sensors?.....Detachable controller wings?!........KINNECT?!?! Sounds like a winning menagerie. I think I'll skip the launch day crowds. *cough, cough.
