No country for old men
Mad Max: Fury Road
Pan's Labyrinth (this movie is good despite being pretentious and very "cultural critic")
A history of violence
A.I.

Inception was okay, Inglorious basterds is okay or even good (but the worst Tarantino movie). 25th Hour had glimpses of good in it but Spike Lee is clearly among the pretentious directors.

I wouldn't say Spike Lee is a bad director but he is better in directing documentaries then life action stuff since this is pretty much his best work to date:

No is not, Have you even watched that docu or are you just looking at the scores? Because Is easy for a film with 3.000 votes to have a higher score than a movie with 150.000, not that it really matters when it come to qualify a film anyways, but 25th hour is way better than a TV documentary about Katrina that not only nobody remembers, is actually among his less important works ever.
