I find the concept of comparing emotions with science really engaging and beautiful. But I really understand the criticisms the film received, and I've always thought that the film would have polarized reception. No problems with that
. In my opinion, it was like Nolan meeting Doctor Who, and it felt great xD. And, yeah, I think there are probably hundreds of movies better than Spring Breakers this century. I don't dislike it, but I don't love it. Tree of Life though is one of the most pretentious, non-sensical films I've ever seen. But in general, this century wasn't so bad as so many people say. The blind nostalgia angries me.
