I have tried WWHD, yes. While it does boast a lot of graphical features often lacking on Wii U, (1080p + AA, ambient occlusion, anisotropic filtering) it did nothing to remedy the aspects of the graphics that I disliked; the horribly proportioned character models with their giant misshapen football heads and tiny bodies, and the way so many surfaces and objects were reduced to bland slabs of one or two colours, water being the worst offender. (If you're going to make water such a key element of your game, you gotta make it visually interesting) None of this is a problem in Breath of the Wild though; Link is properly proportioned, and environmental textures and water are detailed and appealing. Therefore, I have no objections to BotW's graphics. I would have preferred it to look like the 2011 tech demo, but it still looks quite beautiful as is. |
You dont like WW HD art style, I get it. I agree that BotH looks much better even IMO WW HD has best graphics on Wii U currently.
