No. It's Nintendo's fault for playing it cheap on HW. If the NX rumors are right, it may be in the same boat. It's not up to devs to bend over for Nintendo's HW design, it's up to Nintendo to make HW that appeals to devs. Or at least to tens of millions (25M+) of gamers, so devs will feel compelled to port their games to that system.
