Well yeah like you said, they're probably waiting to have a full info blowout once they eventually show off the NX. Shouldn't be too long from now anyway since a lot of rumors seem to indicate September if they are true.
Nintendo is probably all in on the NX at this point anyway, I don't see any more games first party wise releasing on Wii U or 3DS anymore after this year. They have to make sure the NX is a success so they have to put all their resources into it.
