Aren't Gs the standard yellow ones together with F?
Red is class M and K.
Green is class E which I never heard of before.
Blue white is class B and O.
So we're missing class A stars which might be what E was supposed to be. And the lower end classes L, T, Y, not really suitable for life, too cold. Class O stars aren't really suitable either as they only live 10 million years. And then there's all the variants stars evolve into of course.
Hopping between O stars makes it easier to pick a path, less to choose from :)
