I do not know how it is in your country, but here they are trying to pass laws to let kids leran about sex in their tender age, with books with drawnings, porn for kids almost, and the focus will be on gay sex.

I think it is harmful, being exposed to sex, any sex, too early makes kids go kinda crazy, and it will probably make easier for the pedophiles and rapists, cause children may want to try those thing school showed them.

I think this benefits no one, specially NOT homossexuals.

I have some homo friends (female) that think this is a really bad idea as well.

The thing is: I do not see this stopping at all, as you said, things are changing way too fast and any resistance is being faced with a huge backlash.

I guess we are going for quite a ride in the next 50-100 years, when these kids become adults.

Sex education is a totally different issue to marriage equality.

The backlash against the resistance to marriage equality is because we as a society believe more and more that people deserve equal rights whether they're born gay or straight. Naturally, opposition to this idea comes under fire because such resistance runs counter to societal values of fairness and equal opportunity.

Resistance doesn't receive backlash arbitrarily; it receives backlash when it opposes the values of the community.
