It's not the eye of horos, it's the eye of the anti Christ aka the all seeing eye. I know many Muslims who believe that the entire celebration was to celebrate the anti Christ. Even the Olympic beacon was designed as an eye. They see it as a huge insult to Christ as the symbol of anti Christ overshadowed the statue of Jesus.
