Well, ain´t that the aim of every Nintendo console ever? Even the Wii has some amazing games for the real deal gamers, like horror games and decent RPGs.
Mario Galaxy also is a gamer´s game in my opinion, it blends the best of the simplicity of Mario with cutting edge ideas, outside the box gameplay and gorgeous graphics.
Also, casual and hardcore are relative terms. If you only play Call of Duty, Lego and Fifa, you are, in my opinion, a casual gamer.
But I also play all of these casual stuff and also Valkyria Chronicles, Bloodbourne, Siren Blood Curse, things like that. So, if casual is Cooking Mama and Wii Sports, then I guess we are talking very different audiences.
My grammar errors are justified by the fact that I am a brazilian living in Brazil. I am also very stupid.
