I'm not playing the victim card, but it was particularly hilarious that Zelda won every award at E3 this year and people declared said awards worthless even though in the past some of those same had celebrated them when attached to games they liked.  I find it amusing more than anything else :P

Sorry, but not agreeing with and award and considering it worthless are 2 different things. I often do not agree with the academy awards, but still give credit where credit is due. Same with Zelda, I think the fact that it was in development for so long and the fact that it was revealed and looks good had to do a whole lot with the fact that it won. Im not saying it wont be a good game (it will probably be amazing) but there were plenty of other games to be just as excited for IMO.

On the Gamescom win, good going. In all honesty GC was even less eventfull this year as in others, so yeah it kindoff deserves it.

I'm not going to take this far cause I already got warned sorta for this, but I will say I know some just disagreed.  But I remember 4 or 5 people at the very least saying that the critic awards at E3 were completely pointless and meaningless, saying that since games that were not amazing when they launched had won such awards (Evolve got brought up) proved said awards were pointless.  Ignoring the logic that critic awards at events like this are based on what is played of the in-development product.  And it is possible for a game to totally deserve THAT but then fail to come together later.  It does not invalidate the awards.
