It's just kinda ironic that MS paid so much for a studio on the decline while the same year Nintendo bought out a mess of a studio for comparatively little and whipped them into shape to become one of the best in the business. |
Microsoft at times as this strange logic where they think all they need to do is simply purchase a brand or series and it will magically be a guranteed success. It works with certain things that are far enough long or in a good patch (Minecraft), but fails with others (Rare), because in general you need to help continue nurtering a studio and series, something the big M is not fantastic at
