Almost every critic seems to remark that this movie is only worth if you're planning to play the game. Couple it with the fact that there's some huge Critical Dissonance and there's the possibility that as a movie in itself (i.e: editing, pacing, overlong action sequences) it's bad, but as Final Fantasy content, it is enjoyable.
