Though I voted Mystical Ninja, I'd like to make an honorable mention of Gauntlet Legends.
It's a damn fine hack and slash RPG - especially by N64 standards. Also a really great party game. A 4-player local coop dungeon crawler? Gimme more of that right now please!
I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016
