From what I've seen, and it's probably becoming fact, Rare has been dying under Microsoft.

Just about every Rare game published by Microsoft has been a commercial failure, and the games' decline in quality has driven many important members of the company (like David Wise and Kevin Bayliss) to quit.

Even Rare Replay, a game with many beloved Rare games included on it, hasn't even sold the required 1 million units to be a success.

If only Nintendo hadn't kept their head up their ass and bought 100% into Rare. We'd even have GoldenEye and Diddy Kong Racing on Virtual Console by now.

No and everyone agreeing with you probably doesn't know the history of Rare. Talent were leaving Rare before MS bought them. MS let Rare do whatever they wanted initially, so it wasn't the case of limited creativity by suits. Those games unfortunately weren't as good as their previous games. Grabbed by the Ghoulies, Perfect Dark Zero, Kameo. Games that ranged from mediocre to okay.
