I doubt most people who have lewd sigs and avatars are "sexually frustrated." I never understood what people have against seeing girls with skin... Virtually every popular site allows it yet this one doesn't for some nonsense reason. Yes there are limits like there should be but compared to many sites including tech sites, vgc is generally more strict. Heck, I never had to censor my name in professional tech sites but in vgc, I did for whatever reason.

If anything, vgc should just implement an option which allows everyone to not be able to see a specific or all users's avatars and make the site a lot more free than be strict...

Because they are images that most of the human race would look at me like I'm a weirdo if they seem me browsing this site.

I'm ok with all that shit and people being into it but I don't want to be judged for visiting this site.

I'm happy they're keeping it about gaming and not lewd and sexually explicit images. I'm sure there are plenty of sites for that,  which will keep those individuals satisfied.

See that shouldn't be the thing tho. When I was at work for example, I see people go on sites like facebook all the time and more often than not, someone on facebook has a really hot picture which someone posted. So by that logic, everyone who goes on facebook is a weirdo? I doubt it...

And its thinking like that which makes this site fall behind every others. While every other site is integrating twitter and facebook which have a whole whack of users with weird usernames and lewd avatars, vgc doesn't. And what this restriction does is that it adds to the list of reasons users aren't coming to this site as frequently as they used to... If this site was like this when I came around and I got banned, I would never have even bothered to come back again. And considering how much I post, I only have had a positive effect on the site for the most part.

If site a, b, and c is similar to site d but site d doesn't allow what site a, b and c does, then most people would not go to site d and that is exactly what is happening here imo. And what that results in is less ad revenue which results in more ads which results in more people using adblock which results in less frequent numbers since this site isn't making enough care worthy revenue.

Now I am not saying that allowing what was once allowed will fix it asap but being more relaxed like other sites is what this site needs in order to survive. Otherwise, it will only get worse and worse.
