Just because it's not the Paper Mario game you were hoping for, does not mean it's automatically shit. That just makes it unappealing to you. While it may be unappealing to you, it is very appealing to someone else.
It's fine if you're not looking forward to it, and don't want to buy it or support it, voting with your wallet is the main way to get Nintendo's attention. But to constantly rain hate on it, even when it shows something that looks pretty good, just makes you look bitter and disgruntled and like you're hating just for the sake of hating.

It's unappealing to me because it's a shit game, not the other way around.

I am bitter and disgruntled, no doubt about that, but I hate on the game to spread awareness of the situation. If we can convince people to atleast buy the game used, that's a victory for Paper Mario fans and fans of good games.
