I avoid buying games on release, here are my reasons

I only buy Nintendo games on day one. Never had to worry a second about bugs or something with Ninty.

Oh, and I also buy Elder Scrolls and Fallout day one. Might seem a little crazy, since it's basically the exact opposite of a Nintendo game with bugs like there's no tomorrow. But I just love Bethesda RPGs way too much, I can't wait for them. Also, they don't miss content on release. Sure, they get DLC, but the games are complete without that. Never played the Fallout 3 DLC for example and I don't feel like I missed something. I also didn't get a a single DLC for Fallout 4 yet.

Yeah, other than that, I don't mind waiting a little.
