This shouldn't be a shock to anyone really? I mean if you buy something used the only one you are supporting is the outlet where you are buying it, be it a used car, used game or used book.
To counter this people should create items which buyers want to retain and keep on their shelves, either by ways of creating beautiful art or else making something that the owner will want to cherish and not just sell on again after reading it or want to donate it to Charity because it is rubbish.
