I don't understand where the dislike comes from. They promised an absolutely massive game (so massive you may never meet anyone) where you can explore planets, discover shit, and name it whatever you like. The combat and whatnot was always going to be limited, since your interaction with others would also be limited.

They did exactly what they said they were going to do and I don't recall them saying they would do anything else. The only thing I'd like them to do is maybe lay out a star map to where people on your friendlist are at.
