i think the superhero movies work along a lot of genres and there have been a bunch of great movies, for me the best ones ever are:
Superman (1978), Spiderman 2 from Sam Raimi, the Batman from Chris Nolan, iron man (2008), Captain America the winter soldier, the incredibles from pixar and maybe i am missing one or two.
