If you buy call of duty and it's buggy or unplayable, then you've lost 60 dollars.  If you download Angry Birds and you find it is buggy and unplayable then you've lost absolutely nothing.  That's a pretty obvious difference.  So, I'm ok with downloading something for free that's a work in progress, especially with something of this nature.

The idea that they're both "still a game" is kind of off.  A free sample I get at the food court is "still food" just like a 50 dollar steak is "still food".  But I wouldn't care much if my free sample of General Tso's chicken was overcooked, and I'd be pretty upset if my 100 dollar steak was overcooked.  I would actually wager my life on the fact that your expectations vary based on price in every other circumstance in life.  So to say it makes no difference here doesn't make a whole lot of sense. 

You are going off into something that i was never going into. I never said that this situation is as bad as a 60$ game. I said the developers are on the same level as some developers that are known for making buggy messy games. The price of the games matters little to me because i am judging the game itself and the state its in. You are determining overall value which is fine and all but again its not what im talking about. 

If you get a free sample and its overcooked its likely going to affect your future decisions as far a going to that place. Now your not going to flip out like you would if you were paying for it but you will still judge the place like you were paying or judge it for future transactions. Its not like you would say oh that sucked but it was free so it never happened or i will go there to eat more of that. You can still judge something reguardless of whether it is free or not. Read back through what i said and you will see im am speaking more so about the developers and what they have done more so than even the game itself.
