The clear difference here is that the game is free to play. If people felt the game was broken at launch, they found that out way before they ever had to pay a dime. And they've been clear from the beginning that features are going to change as time goes on, which is typical for an always online game. And, aside from ingress, games like this haven't been done before, so obviously it's more reasonable for it to have growing pains as opposed to the 6th Assassin's Creed game. |
The game being free makes no difference. They make games just like any other developer and they released a mess of one. Now nobody had to pay a dime to play it sure, that great, doesnt mean criticism cant be given. And again my wife and i play and with every update they give shit notice and very little information on them. Its a pretty big middle finger not going to lie. They are going to make people stop playing on the updates and bugs if they dont sort their stuff out.
Also we are getting into driveclub territory with this freaking pokemon tracking shit.
