Jim Sterling site under attack by some No Man's Sky fans.

I've never seen Jim's reviews as seeking controversy, they are just his honest opinion on the games he plays. Sometimes he's in line with the general concensus, others he's the outlier but it should be the same with every reviewer. 

His show the Jimquisition does focus more on industry failings, the latest scams crafted by the big developpers to squeeze out more money from gamers which I guess you could say is seeking controversy but if you block out the nonsense in his intro, he always presents well constructed argument against/for the subject of the week so it's not mindless attention seeking.

Ah it's not that I think the content is really just mindless attention seeking, but I think the persona that he would like to put out of himself is someone who would raise questions which need answering, even down to the name of the show suggests an Inquisition, a papal system using Torture to stop heresy within gaming?

Perhaps controvery was the wrong word, but he likes to be on the forefront of telling people the questions he is asking are super important, while... they're often not and just things which are standard practices but if you take them out of context then they can appear to be strange and shocking.

I guess he is a marmite thing? If you like the look into some aspects of the gaming industry that he points a torch at that is cool, some of those things I just find that shinying a torch on them just brings more attention to an issue that really could have just been left well alone. Guess it's clear that the guy isn't for me just.

 

Edit - Just going to point out that I don't mean... he isn't for me to the point where I would think his site should be or that I would DDoS the guys site, that is idiotic, I meant he is not for me that I wouldn't watch his videos, I'm perfectly happy that he does his thing online, just that it isn't for me! Wanna clear that up since his site is under fire from haters.
