This sounds like a bunch of rose-colored glasses spin. Game's not doing half as well as its predecessor YW2 (which was at 1,934,004 after week 4) and is even losing out to spin-off game Busters (1,127,271 after four weeks). You look at the sales for Busters, it beat YW3's numbers in every single of week of the first four weeks (its week four was 108,822). This is a declining franchise in Japan right now, though it'll probably level off and be fine, so long as it can survive the transition to the 3DS' successor. I kind of feel it won't, and it'll become a full mobile franchise eventually. |
American Ali is asking if Yokai Watch is Dead.
It is declining but it isn't dead...... yet!
