It makes sense for them. this is the best move they could do. they are down and out and they know they can never ever compete with MS and Sony.
so they are going to where they are best..mobile and where all the money is...mobile. Clash Royale makes millions of dollars per day. no way nintendo would not want some of that pie. Gaming home consoles cant compete with the profits mobile games are making.
zelda for example probably costs 10,000 x more to make then clash royale. but clashe royale will make 1,000,000 x more money then the new zelda game will ever make.
and that is the sad truth of gaming. Glad nintendo woke up!
