I was gonna get No Man's Sky today depending on the reviews, but now I won't, especially seeing the user score on MC. But I'm looking for some opinions on the game from more credible places. Do you know why there's a trend of no reviews before launch? Because the publishers figured out they could exploit the use of the internet. They found out that they could ship a game that wasn't complete, tell reviewers about and knew that these huge websites like IGN would hold back because they don't want to get egg on their faces.
It was all contrived and a scam from the start. People don't care though... they just buy the games blindly anyway. All you can do is choose to be an intelligent consumer and wait a week or two before making the plunge.
