I just hope they ignore the idiots whining about collateral damage. I guess Superman was supposed to gingerly fight zod by tip toeing around buildings and such.

I have a HUGE problem with this common criticism. For movies sake, it was his origin film and he was still figuring out his powers and himself when all of the sudden some Kryptonians pop up and want to take over his adoptive home. The world collider (was that what it was called?) started destroying all of Metropolis anyway...

Now, fast forward to BvS and people were complaining about how convenient it was that the Doomsday fight took place at night (they even mention this in the movie on a news broadcast about it being after the workday) and the fact that there weren't any bystanders around. These are the types of unfair criticism that Snyder and DC receive. They literally get complaints no matter what they do, case in point my examples in this post.

Anyway, I think it's cool they're making an actual MoS sequel. If anything, MoS was a little slow and do I daresay boring, but I didn't find anything else wrong with the film as many people seem to love to hate on it.

Yay... more emo, brooding, flawed and internally confused Superman movies!

Actually, most likely not. Snyder has been quoted as saying Superman in MoS and BvS is still finding out who he is and that he wanted those two movies to showcase Supermans internal struggles in order to get him to a point where everyone recognizes as the "real" Man of Tomorrow. So, I'm pretty sure from here on out Superman will be a little happier. Plus, WB/DC is supposedly keen on getting Superman where everyone wants him to be: less brooding, less emo. Plus, we don't know if Snyder will even return to direct. Apparently he has been removed from the second Justice League film and they want him to solely focus on JL1.
