Meh, why not? Although I'm kind of in the "this generation will last longer than others" camp right now. Nintendo's already said they're perfectly willing to let this generation last as long as they can milk it ("until people get bored" is the actual quote, I believe). Sony and especially Microsoft have been taking some serious losses in the videogame market right now, and appear to be focusing on becoming profitable rather than on gaining more marketshare (hence the lack of price cuts), and that's hard to do when you release a new system. So I'm actually going to go out on a limb here, and add an extra year to all of your dates.
