In store trade ins will effect sales certainly. But if anything that would sway more buyers in store for the 2TB. Anyway arguments changing. You've mentioned that trade ins will sway people in to brick and mortar stores but not why certain bundles are more popular in store rather than online.

The 2TB versions have been very limited so i can still see people going for the 1tb and maybe even the 500gb. Maybe certain bundles are more popular in store is that casuals are probably not as willing to pre order the bundle online but would see it in a store and buy it. That could explain why we keep getting Madden bundles every year when they rank low online.
