Great show. Got a little worried they were going stereotypical with the love triangle, but they fixed it in the end. The only thing that truly comes damn close to ruining the series for me is the CG.

Why in the heck would you spend so much money creating a good atmosphere, meticulous detail to look like the 80s and pay homage to that era, but resort to using CG for your monster? It almost breaks the immersion. I was just thinking of how great and fucking scary that would have been to see the monster coming out of the wall, completely done practical, like they would have done in the 80's (they even have a couple watching The Thing, a masterpiece of practical effects.) Instead I'm comparing it to the new Nightmare movie and thinking how it only looks a little better than when Freddy was pushing through the wall.

Also the monster design is not that good, but all the rest is amazing. I agree with you, the CGI monster is the worst part by far, the monster in general.  But man, what a show.

My grammar errors are justified by the fact that I am a brazilian living in Brazil. I am also very stupid.
