I think the point you are failing to realise is that power doesn't guarentee ports. Sales do...
You only have to take a look at the Wii U and see that it missed out on all the ports like Battlefield 3, 4, Dragon Age Inquisition, Hardline, Call of Duty etc'.
All the big publishers turned their backs on the Wii U and continued to port to similar platforms like the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.
It's fairly easy for developers to downscale their games for lesser performing platforms, it's allot harder to financially justify it if you don't have a big enough userbase.

I think you misunderstand me.
I actually like the Hybrid concept Nintendo is taking the NX in and I honestly hope they are successfull.
And I do not want them to carbon-copy Microsoft and Sony.
What I don't like is the anemic hardware which isn't going to be able to drive next-gen levels of imagry that I have come to expect out of all my gaming platforms.
Will I buy it? Probably not. Not if Nintendo cannot meet my needs/wants/desires for a yet another console generation.
