You are making alot of leaps here. I didn't sugest anything, you have me confused with the other guy. I poked a hole in your logic.

If bundling things people don't want didn't work for MS, why would it work for Nintendo when it's just inflating the price?

If you believe in what you just said...

I guess you are correct. I thought you were the first guy. But since I mistook you, for the other guy, I will indulge you as a consequence.

Bundling Kinect, a product most did not want which raised the price of the base unit was obviously a terrible idea.

Bundling what is considered an essential selling point of this new console, while keeping the price down and giving everyone the same starting and end point sounds like a brilliant idea by comparison. If you do not understand that, please stay the fuck out of business. This shit is not rocket science. Would they sell the tablet without the controller next? Catering to the lowest common denominator when introducing a radical idea is essential to proper growth and development. This is about as laymen as I can explain it. One was an extra, unwanted feature and the other is an essential and desired feature. This is a no brainer.

Maybe its a no brainer for you, but it holds no logic. Bundling everything while keeping the price down? That is a physical impossibility given Nintendo admits that they won't sell systems at a loss anymore.

If they can have a system that is a portable with a docking station then it makes sense to offer the docking station as an option to reduce the price.

Though i do think Nintendo would just try to shove stuff down our throats like Microsoft tried to. We will see. But i don't see any chance for what can be essentially an overpriced portable wich can connect to the TV. Quite honestly, that is partially what the Vita TV is and it was a disaster.

The real point here is: Portables above 250€/$ won't fly. Wether you can connect them to the TV or not.
