1. 2. The box now draws around 80W in gaming, 40W when watching blu-rays. This makes for a very simple ps design which doesn't even get lukewarm in operation (hence the S is as quiet as the old model).

3. The back says 110-240V 50/60Hz input. Go figure whether you need a different ps.....

 

so 3 in 3 fails for your "arguments".

1. This has nothing on what he said. The PSU can still malfunction. 

2. Voltage changes don't affect heat generation. There are people who still have to deal with melt your socket off iPads... 

3. If you travel a lot, you might prefer carrying a different brick around. It sucks when you're stuck dealing with locale limitations. 

Onto the next point, don't berate people for not agreeing with you.
