I like DC more serious tone. I mean, Man Of Steel isn`t just a super hero movie, it`s a disaster movie with Superman in it, giving it a " lighter" tone wouldn`t make any sense and would be ridiculous, just like San Andreas and 2012 ridiculous. Loads of people dying has to have some meaning. BvS is also a disaster movie with Batman, Wonder Woman and Superman in it, and I like this approach, it`s more realistic and builds on the legacy the Nolan Batman left. The problem with Suicide Squad is, from what I read, is that the film was dark and gritty, and they reshoot a lot to make it more comedyie. DC found a good formula for their movies that is true to the Comics but also works for Live-Action, Marvel way isn`t the only way.
