Like really, is like VGC is too, TOOOOOOOOOO much optimist with things, while GAF is too doom and doom. Both are exaggerated.

There's only me and like 2/3 others on Vgchartz who are saying ps4 Japan sales are good.  Most people around here try to downplay it's Japanese sales.  

 

Gaf is on a whole other level of negativity though. You say the average production was 1.6m this year but that's a recent prediction.  they were made when it was obvious the ps4 was going to be a success in Japan.  Go back to 2014 and you'll see what gaf really thought.  Most said 5/6m lifetime.  

 

By the end of this year it will be around 4m lifetime already.  End of fiscal year 2017 it will be over 6m.  And it's going to sell well for another 3 years plus after that.  Gaf got it badly wrong and so did many more.  

 

I know it's hard for people to swallow their pride and admit the ps4 is the sole shining light in the japanese home console market but they should because the longer they deny it the sillier they will look.  

 

I think that Square Enix Japan will be more active this generation. This can help the sales of the PS4 in Japan.
