If you mean lifetime then I seriously doubt the NX will beat the 3DS. 

 

3DS heavy decline from DS. 

I expect NX to at least decline from 3DS too 

 

The 3DS have also beaten the PS4 in most weeks in 2015 XD 

 

Im just saying out of the announced/released consoles/handheld. The NX has the possibility of beating the 3DS. And the 3DS has a huge lead this gen from the others. Of course this is only my own opinion. While it looks like for you its already a No.
