I can still watch it on netflix eventually or yar it when it comes out but a low review score means that I have a higher chance of not liking it so yes, I do still care about reviews. (And people who value money should too)

I feel like people should only care about reviews if they are not very interested in the product in the first place.

For instance I've been looking foward to this movie so I'll ignore reviews, but for movies that I don't care I would pay more attention to some reviews.

I wouldn't say so cause money is still money. If this movie turns out to be reviewed worse than Mario Bros (I am not saying it will but as an example), anyone that would go to watch it will regret having paying a cent for it and if they are fans, that would make the entire thing even worse. Where as if they saw the reviews first, it would save them money and would make them be less salty since skipped it or waited for Netflix/rent.
