In a more serious answer, whatever game they plan to make next needs to have legible text from more than three feet away. Luckily I have a pc monitor I could use with X but not everyone else prefers to sit that close to their monitor.
Edit better example:
This looks fine on PC but if you sit five feet or more from your TV you're out of luck.
