I agree. Definitely a year one title. One of their biggest IP's and due a sequel.
The NX is launching in tough market conditions so Nintendo definitely want a fast start.
A proper Mario, animal crossing, sun / Moon port and splatoon 2 all make sense for year 1. Super Smash Bros and Mario Kart with 2 years.
Basically Nintendo will guarantee an excellent first 2 years to get their hardcore fans on board along with Japan. Which will have titles like monster hunter and yokai watch too.
The real test for Nintendo is after the first 2 years when all their hardcore fans have bought in. Will they achieve mass market appeal or just slowly fade in terms of yearly sale's.
