"To be considered successful" I.e make everyone who invested in it a bit of a return as well as cover the costs to make the film.
Film making isn't a hobby to most.
I've not seen the film yet. Though my wife is really keen to see it so sounds like I'll be going at some point. But I've heard pretty mixed overall so I think it depends what you're expecting out of it as to how you find it. I'll be expecting a soulless by the numbers affair, an expectation that made Robocop actually quite enjoyable.
RIP Dad 25/11/51 - 13/12/13. You will be missed but never forgotten.
