Like I edited in above, not being able to talk down to black people anymore or call a person a "fag" or not being able to slap a woman on the ass in the work place like you could maybe 30 years ago is not facism.
It's the majority of society deciding those are social norms that are no longer acceptable, because they are quite frankly asshole-ish. This is a natural and normal evolution for any free society to have, over time certain norms become outdated/unacceptable. And you are even free to still do all of those things. No one is going to kill you for it. You just will have negative social repurcussions due to it most likely at some point or maybe an ass whupping depending on who you've insulted. But no one's dragging you off to some political prison because of any of that like they do in China.
