Don't you want someone who can actually act to play her? Rousey is all fine to stand ther looking mean and dangerous and kicking arse. But I would never want her to have to actually carry a movie. Game adaptations have a hard enough time being good as it is. Putting a sportsperson who isn't a very good actor in the lead role would just make things harder.
