I think its just a teenage age thing with a few mixed in older ages who repeat this constant hating crap. I'm in my 20's and practically EVERYONE I know in my friend group likes SOME Nintendo stuff and is fond of the company, whether its because of Zelda, Pokemon, or Super Smash Bros.
I would just ignore the haters, they're not in such a majority like it sometimes appears, its just haters are by far the loudest in a crowd.
Nintendo will be fine
