Gods of Egypt which had the same production budget as The BFG is a distant second place it bombed harder domestically but it made over $100 million overseas and currently still has made slightly more the twice as much money as The BFG at the box office. But even if the numbers where closer The BFG is a bigger failure since its PG and Gods of Egypt is PG-13. |
