Donkey Kong Country 3 is sadly underappreciated (In my opinion)

It's OST certainly isn't as great as the first two games, but terrible?

I mean, all SNES games are subject to muffle, but the muffle on these tunes wasn't appreciated. And most of the tunes sounded well...generic. Easily, the first 2 games I would find myself humming to the melodies. I guess the melodies themselves weren't anywhere near as catchy as the first 2. They were more environmental, which isn't bad if that's what you're going for but it didn't do justice to 1 and 2. Especially DKC2's Ice Cave music I mean...

And oh God...

But I can respect how you feel about the game. It isn't a bad game by any means, it just didn't live up to the first 2 imo. It was very generic on all fronts and showed its age by the 3rd installation.
