GEARS OF WAR 4 – PC FEATURES UNVEILED, FRAMERATE WILL BE UNLOCKED

Mike Rayner, technical director for The Coalition, has revealed some interesting details about the PC version of Gears of War 4. According to Mike, Gears of War 4 PC will feature an unlocked framerate, will support v-sync, will sport higher quality textures and will take better advantage of multiple CPU cores.

Marvel has announced that Marvel Ultimate Alliance & Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 will be released on the PC this Tuesday. These Ultimate Alliance games are described as ‘epic action RPGs with a huge focus on cooperative play,’ and will be priced at at $39.99 each or as a bundle together for $59.99.

STAR CITIZEN – NEW SCREENSHOTS AND DETAILS FOR VERSION 2.7 UNVEILED

PCGames magazine revealed some new screenshots and details about the upcoming 2.7 version of Star Citizen. Star Citizen is powered by CRYENGINE and these new screenshots look really amazing. Moreover, the game’s 2.7 version will introduce procedural generated planets.

 

HEROES & GENERALS SURPASSES 8 MILLION REGISTERED PLAYERS

Danish developer and publisher Reto-Moto announced today that its World War II MMO first-person shooter, Heroes & Generals, has just passed 8 million registered players. In addition, Heroes & Generals also celebrates today its second year Steam Anniversary.

Microsoft has released a new trailer for Halo Wars 2 that focuses on the game’s story and characters. Halo Wars 2 is being developed by 343 Industries and The Creative Assembly and is coming to Windows 10 this February.

STATE OF MIND – COMIC CON 2016 SCREENSHOTS

Daedalic has released a new set of screenshots for its upcoming futuristic thriller, State of Mind. State of Mind is a new 3D adventure in which a dystopian reality and a utopian virtual future stand in stark contrast to each other. In these two realities, players not only take on the role of several playable characters, but also face an existentialist drama unfolding as humanity is on the verge of post-materialism. State of Mind is currently planned for a Q1 2017 release.

 

QUAKE CHAMPIONS GETS NEW TRAILER

Bethesda has released a new trailer for id Software’s upcoming arena shooter, Quake Champions. In this trailer, Tim Willits talks about how Quake Champions not only captures the spirit of the original games but also brings the storied shooter into the modern era with the addition of Champions. Willits also gives some new insights into each of the four revealed Champions – Ranger, Visor, Nyx and Scalebearer – and shares his personal favorite of the bunch.
