Yes.  I forgot about that.  Though, to justify that entire story arc in Batman Beyond and his entire fetish on the subject (Apparently Batgirl and Batman has been hinted at for 50 years.) on that one episode is just stupid.  It's stupid and didn't need to be brought back here.  Batgirl putting her costume away because she got fed up with Batman (I'm against that characterization of Batman too BTW.) would have made more sense than her seducing Batman and giving up being Batgirl cause Batman isn't responding to her feelings.  It's poor characterizations and is the greatest thing Timm has done wrong.  Not just in this movie I mean.

I'd say it's somewhat realistic. Because of this one episode. It setup she loved him. Then add all the time that was missing between the original run and the newer episodes. Then the time jump between New Batman Adventures and Beyond. Her crush/love of Batman would of went really high. But Timm's Batman is so horrible at relasionships. With Kyle, Mask Of The Phantasm, and many other women. He's super horrible to Terry, compared to Dick. She had to quit on Batman, because of his attitude. He just makes people quit. In some ways, Batman is a villian towards his friends.

That's not the reasoning for her quiting in the movie. It's FAR more stupid and out of character than that.

If you want to see the same type of story done right with clever writing and an impactful message, watch Robin's Reckoning Part 1 and 2. If you're eyes stay dry you simply aren't human.
