agree to disagree, at most it would depend on what type of game you are playing. any competitive pc fps player would tell you 1ms 120/144hz is the way to go.

 

if the gaming setup is for mostly console gaming with loose controls, sure, 8ms might be ok in gaming more.

... Again. Your eyes, biologically speaking, can't see that. 1ms response times are a marketing ploy.
